A musical tribute to Mikis Theodorakis & Manos Hadjidakis

In connection with tribute to great Greek composers, Mediterranean culture presents the Greek artist IRO for the first time in Gothenburg and Malmö. A well-known singer and musician who, with his melodic voice, will travel us in a musical tribute to Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis. In Greece, the past year was devoted to Mikis Theodorakis on the anniversary of his birth, 90 years. In connection with tribute to great Greek composers, the Mediterranean culture presents the Greek artist IRO for the first time in Gothenburg and Malmö. A well-known singer and musician who, with his melodic voice, will travel us in a musical tribute to Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis. In Greece, the past year was spent on Mikis Theodorakis on the anniversary of his birth, 90 years.

With unique IRO in piano and song, we will be able to remember once again beautiful melodies from two major composers, but also know some of IRO's personal musical compositions. Fellow travelers on this trip are the Evikoon Melos group (mandolin, guitar and double bass). On bouzouki Giannis Matsoukas from Mikis Theodorakis orchestra, especially for the tour in Sweden.

Together with IRO and the excellent musicians that come with, we will all be able to feature small-scale favorite songs by Manos Chatzidakis such as "Take Payia Tou Peiraia", "Odos Oneiron", Agapi Pougines Dikopo Machairi, "Athanasia", "Mia Poli Magiki" , "O Gremos" and we will feel tempo from the compositions of Mikis Theodorakis in famous songs such as "Asma Asmaton", "H Margarita in Margaro", "Aprilis", "Omorfi Poli", "Kaemos", "Tou Mikrou Voria" many more beautiful songs that remain within time and are reflected, while also forming a part of the New Greek cultural identity.
